St. Paul's United Church of Christ
Learning and Growing in a Progressive Spirit

A Different Kind of Church

We look like a lot of churches from the outside. But not from the inside.

That's where you'll hear us celebrate a Gospel understanding unique to Laramie that is thoughtful, socially conscious, and focused on empowering people in life here and now.

We take the Bible seriously, but not literally, and believe that God is still speaking and creating, leading us forward to an ever evolving faith with new understandings of how the world works.  There's always something to learn about loving God with our whole selves, and our neighbors as ourselves (and all of Creation) in a powerful, just, and peaceful way.

Come and join us for Sunday morning worship or a Monday night class or just contact our pastor Todd (303-882-9631) to talk about St. Paul's distinctive way of being church.

We Welcome ALL God's People

Open and Affirming Statement

Adopted at the Congregational Meeting of October 11th, 2009

We, the members of St. Paul's United Church of Christ believe that all people are created in God’s image and thus are loved and blessed equally by God.

We take seriously the scriptures which command us “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." Jesus said, "You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live." (Luke 10:25-28)

We invite and welcome into our community persons of every gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ability, age, race, nationality, economic and social status, faith background, marital standing and family structure.

In our community of faith all people are encouraged to participate and share their talents and energy in worship and sacraments, leadership positions, ordained ministry, lay ministry, learning, service, mission and fellowship.

Therefore, no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome in this United Church of Christ.
