Saint Paul's United Church of Christ Interim Minister

Todd Smiedendorf, MS, MDiv

Todd also leads retreats with The Men’s Leadership Alliance, a Boulder Based non-profit, supporting men in finding a more soulful path that makes the world more joyful, just, and sustainable. He is the creator of CrossRoads in the Wilderness, a unique MLA retreat for Christian identified men and the author of CrossWork: An Integrated Approach to Spiritual Direction. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Albion College in Religious Studies, a Master of Science degree from the University of Arizona in Exercise Physiology, and a Master of Divinity degree from The Iliff School of Theology.

Todd has been Interim Minister at St. Paul’s since the fall of 2008, helping the church reorganize and revitalize in preparation for calling a settled minister in 2010. Originally from Michigan, Todd adopted Colorado as home 20 years ago when he began attending seminary at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver after a career as an exercise physiologist. Ordained in the United Church of Christ in December 2001, Todd has served as Associate Minister at the United Church of Christ in Forest Grove, Oregon and then as Campus Minister of PRISM at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
